Imagine stepping into the hot salty water and settling in. The softness of the water is recognizable and you are being cared for by the water, which embraces you and makes you relax. You take deep breaths into your stomach and on each exhale you sink deeper into
yourself. Your body begins to absorb magnesium through the skin, and you can feel how you get heavier as your muscles relax and your tension slowly releases. You get the feeling of becoming one with the water and the air, while at the same time the silence and weightless state
calms your nerves and allows your nervous system full recovery.
You make room for yourself, your thoughts, and your feelings. You create space in yourself for what fills, and when what fills gets space, it can begin to change its shape. In this state, your body and mind begin to rebuild themselves after everyday overloads and stimuli, to find its natural balance again.
You hear music in the distance and start to get back to where you started, in the float tank, you stretch to release the last tensions after which you slowly and very attentively step out of the float tank, now with a greater presence and more self-conscious than you started. After one hour in weightlessness, you now feel the heaviness in your body, grounding and the calm that descends on your being.
One hour in the float tank is equivalent to 4-8 hours of sleep recovery-wise. Magnesium is the third most important element in our body, where water is the most important, and after a float session you have filled up your magnesium stores so that the effect of a float can last 2-3 days, and for some
individuals up to 5-7 days.
The large magnesium uptake helps the body maintain its balance, strengthens our immune system and creates energy. The day you float you may find that the body continues its recovery if you allow and give it space, however, this recovery often feels different from what we are used to, as it is associated with acceptance, calm, presence and excess.
The following 2-5 days after your float, there will typically be a feeling of greater well-being, energy and more energy. You’re fine!
In Float Studio we invite you to invest one hour for yourself in the float tank, and see what it gives you back, the gain and effect will only you personally be able to assess.
By creating more energy and a greater surplus, we experience that floating can help create a healthy foundation on which we can build our everyday lives. It takes energy and energy to create a stable everyday life with healthy choices and well-being.
Floating can be a step in the right direction to get into a good routine, as well as stay in there. A routine where there is fertile ground for healthy choices, self-reflection, greater performance and optimization as well as more space for you and your relationships.
