The history of Floating
Created more than 70 years ago
Floating was created in the 1950s in the USA by psychiatrist and neurologist Dr. John C. Lilly. He wanted to study the effects of isolating the brain and find answers to unanswered questions about the human mind. The treatment has ever since impacted people and shown a long list of positive results.

Flere undersøgelser iblandt nuværende brugere af floatcentre, som lider af klaustrofobi, viser at 90% af dem ikke får denne følelse, når de har lagt sig til rette i tanken.
Dette skyldes bl.a., at det ligger i menneskets natur automatisk at slappe af, når vi befinder os i et roligt, stille og afslappende miljø, hvilket tanken afspejler.
Det er vigtigt at understrege, at du er i fuld kontrol over dine omgivelser, når du befinder dig i tanken.
Tankens størrelse gør, at du ikke føler dig indelukket, og der er også friskluftsindtag.
Du kan evt. prøve med låget åben eller have lyset tændt, hvis du tænker, det bliver for klaustrofobisk.
Filtret rengør helt ned på nano-niveau og fjerner partikler, der er 100 gange mindre end et hår.
Saltet i tanken er også naturligt desinficerende, som neutraliserer eventuelle bakterier.
Brugerne skal desuden altid gå i bad inden og efter en floatsession.
Floattanke har været i brug i mere end 60 år, og der er stadig ikke fundet et tilfælde, hvor en bruger er blevet syg af at opholde sig i tanken

Din hud bløder ikke op, som du normalt vil opleve.
